Yesterday I started to write a very heart-felt, and passionate piece about the daily happenings here in Lima, as well as the story of one of the children in el hogar.
Then I realized that I really hated my blog; the design, that is. Maybe this is why it takes me weeks to compose another post. Maybe I am actually avoiding the blogging website because it is a cheap imitation of what blogging websites should be.
My goal was to fix this problem, and I ended up at blogger.com. I will not go into how many hours it took for me to pick a background, or figure out how to change the header, (*cough* 8 hours *cough*) BUT here it is!! This was my first experience with actually "designing" a blog, so if it looks awful, well, move on and enjoy my writing.
I added cool links about myself ("Me, Moi, Yo"), why I started a new blog ("Peru?"), and how YOU (that's right, I'm talking to you) can get involved ("Be a part of the Experience").
